Seven GCSE passes at grades A* - B, including English Language and Mathematics at grade B is the basic entry requirement to join the Sixth Form. For individual A level requirements, please see the table below. We will also make a calculation of each student’s APS (Average Points score) at GCSE, when guiding and advising them on their A level choices, based on the following values:
A* = 8, A = 7, B = 6, C = 5, D = 4, E = 3, F = 2, G = 1 to work out GCSE Average Points Score (APS)
Entry Requirements:
- Both Physics and Chemistry require A grades in Mathematics GCSE
- A level Physics students must also study A level Mathematics
