Hackney New School is an exciting new free secondary school opening in September 2013. Our core vision is to provide students with access to the widest range of opportunities in life by fostering academic excellence and instilling self-belief, intellectual curiosity and responsibility towards others in society. All in the pre-opening team at HNS share the belief that an outstanding education can be provided to children from a wide range of backgrounds, if they are being challenged in all aspects of their academic and personal development.
Salary will be £30,000 + £1,500 TLR + performance related bonus.
You will be committed to ensuring every student is supported and challenged to reach their potential in all areas of their education. You are an enthusiastic, well qualified and inspirational teacher who is ready to make the first move into leadership. You have the vision, drive and interpersonal skills to motivate students in science and mathematics and you are keen to make a real and significant difference to the students in our school.

We are looking for an innovative and passionate teacher to focus on addressing literacy and numeracy deficits by carrying out small group interventions in addition to in-class support.
Experience in SEN is desirable but not essential. More important is the desire to improve student progress and attendance with a commitment to continuing professional development. You will also enjoy the challenge of contributing to ‘The Core’, our unique afternoon enrichment programme.
You will be committed to ensuring every student is supported and challenged to reach their potential in all areas of their education.

You will be committed to ensuring every student is supported and challenged to reach their potential in all areas of their education. You are ready to move into a middle leader role but still love teaching. You will enjoy the challenge of leading, managing and developing a successful and enjoyable programme of physical education, including competitive sport, for all pupils.
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, energetic, creative and hardworking professional to lead by example. Hackney New School has an inner city location and it will be necessary to develop an innovative and coherent programme of physical activity using limited school facilities and excellent local sports centres and green spaces.
