Congratulations to Precious Adewole who is now Middlesex County Champion in the Under 15s boys discus with a throw of 25.83m and Elijah Smith a 4th place, only missing out on a medal by 62cm. Congratulations to both who competed for the first time for Victoria Park Harriers and Tower Hamlets A.C. It is also worth noting that these boys are only 13 years of age.

Ms Quartey, the athletics specialist PE Assistant at HNS, stated, “These results put the both of them in the top 10 in London and top 80 in the Country, with only a few weeks of their summer athletics training under their belts.”

All of us at Hackney New School are very proud of both of them and all the previous medalists (15 medals) won at the Hackney Athletics Championships in May!
